H.R. 1315 amends Section 1023 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act to streamline the Financial Stability Oversight Council review and oversight of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau rules and regulations that may undermine the safety and soundness of U.S. financial institutions.

Amendment Process Announcement for H.R. 1938

The Committee on Rules may meet the week of July 25th to grant a rule that could limit the amendment process for floor consideration of H.R. 1938, to direct the President to expedite the consideration and approval of the construction and operation of the Keystone XL oil pipeline, and for other purposes. The bill was ordered reported on June 23rd by the Committee on Energy and Commerce.
