Summary

  H.R. 5 addresses the current crisis in health care by reining in unlimited lawsuits and thereby making health care delivery more accessible and cost-effective in the United States. This bill also includes the Medicare Decisions Accountability Act of 2011, which repeals the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act providing for the Independent Payment Advisory Board.
