Members' Day Hearing on Proposed Rules Changes for the 118th Congress

Dear Colleague:

As the Committee on Rules prepares for the 118th Congress, and in conformance with section 3(a) of House Resolution 8, I write to announce our semi-annual Members Day hearing where Members can be heard on their proposed changes to the standing rules of the House. The hearing will take place on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 29, 2022. A formal announcement will follow.

Any Member wishing to testify at the hearing should complete this form by 5:00 PM EST on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Please make one submission per idea. All submissions will be made available to the Committee’s majority and minority staffs. Please note that staff must be on the House network, either physically or remotely via virtual private network (VPN), in order to access the online submission form.
